Hello there world,
Well yesterday was my youngest's birthday.   It was wonderful to have him here with me again.  He moved in with me about a week ago.   It is strange having both my boys living here.   I am enjoying it but it is strange.
I am really starting to get into the swap stuff on swap bot.   It is a little confusining and frustrating when you do a swap and the other people in the swap do not fallow through with thier part but I guess that is normal human behavior.
Well not much else happening in my life right now so I will close for today.

New things in my life

Well I have all kinds of new things going on in my life.
First I am now a trained dog trainer.   I don't actually have my cerificate yet but I have finished the training.  Now I just have to start training dogs other then my own dog.   I want to start going to the local shelter and working with those dogs.  Then I need to start setting up the busniess so I can do this for a living.
Second I joined a site called Swap-bot.  It looks like it could be a fun place to play and a great way to meet other people all over the world.   My first "swap" will be done today.  I joined a swap for 2 postcards to be sent form my town.  I am really excited to find out who I will get cards from.  My cards go to Arizona and Sweeden.
My second swap is why this blogg is getting read.  I have to visit some other bloggs and they will visit mine.
I have also been vigorously visiting an old passion.  I have been sewing up a storm and working on cleaning out my sewing room.  I have a shop on etsy.com and will be posting a bunch of new stuff there in the next few weeks.  If you would like to visit my store on etsy.com it is http://www.etsy.com/shop/sewingturtle?ref=si_shop
Well I think that is enough for today.

New beginings New Me

Well My whole life is starting to change again.  I am  back in school learing how to be a dog trainer.   I am also working on mastering the art of baking cupcakes.
I am learning how to play on Facebook,  trying to be more social and out there.
I still sew and still want to spend time sewing.   I am maintaining my little spot on esty.com.
I have this strange need to have myself going in a bunch of different directions all at once.  I am not happy if I am only doing one thing at a time.
I am still working a thankless, underpaid job where most of the time I wish I did not have to do but I do for the paycheck, at least for now.
I ran away last week with my son.   We headed out to Scottsbluff NE, figuring on having lunch there, then heading home.   We left out about 11 am  ended up stopping in Ft. Larimie for a couple of hours.    We had fun looking around at the fort there.  We stopped in the gift shop and found the passport for the national parks, I bought one and now want to see how many I can visit.
After a few more stops we fiinally got to Scottsbluff around 3:30pm.  We had lunch at a wonderful asian resturtant called the "Wonderful House Resturant".   The food and the service was great!!!
After lunch we went to see the Zoo but it was closed so we walked around the park area behind the zoo and found a great little dog park that looked under used.   I wish we had a dog park here in Douglas that was that nice.
Next time I go I am going to take Skipper and we are going to walk the bike path that they have there.  It runs past the dog park and along the river.
My son and I were laughing it took us about 5 1/2 hours to take a 2 hour drive.    We had a great time and alot of laughs.   This is a runnaway we are going to have to do again so we can see and do the things we did not get to do this time.
Well enough for today.

Movie for One

Well tonight I had one of the most amazing occurances that I have ever had!  I decided while in Casper shopping I would stop at the mall and treat myself to dinner and a movie.  So first I ate dinner at the Family Buffet, which is a great place to eat.  You never leave that place hungery.  The off the the theater in the mall for a movie.  Tonight it was A Christmas Carol.   It is the new animated version with Jim Carry as the voice for Scrooge.  It first came out as a 3D movie but this late in the run it was in 2D.  That was the only let down on this movie.  The movie was great.  It really followed the book, which I read for the first time last year on Christmas Day.
But the truly neat thing that happened today was that I was the only person who watched the movie tonight.  I have gone to the movie and had as few as 10 people watching the movie in the theater.  That is a really neat feeling to watch a movie all by your self in the theater.
It was amazing how it felt to sit there in a theater built for 50 or more people, and be the only one there.  It definatly gives you a feeling of superiority.  Maybe that is not the right word for it. but it definatly is a special and unique feeling.   I felt like I was something really special and important that I was privied to watch the movie all by myself.  It is something I think everyone should get to feel in thier life time.

In the begining

Hello,
I am new to all this and not sure what is going to transpire.
Just a little about myself to bein with.
I am a mother of two wonderful boys who are both in the military.
I also have to cats who keep me laughing, and are very spoiled and loved.
I have been sewing since I can remember.  I started out sewing zig-zag around rags and then moved onto pillowcases.  From there I have done it all.  I even had a sewing shop, for 5 years,  where I did alterations and anyother sewing that you can think of.   Now I strickly do sewing I want to do, mostly creative things.  Although I am finishing up on some things that I started and never finished.
